ROSALIE M. HARPER
Rosalie Mae Harper, 64, died Monday, January 11, 1999, at Portland, Oregon.
Rosalie Mae Jensen was born September 16, 1934, to Erwin and Daisy Jensen, Hurley, South Dakota. She graduated from Viborg High School in 1952. She graduated from Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing in Yankton, South Dakota.
Rosalie was married to Lloyd Harper August 26, 1956, in the Spring Valley Lutheran Church, Viborg, S.D. they moved to Portland, Oregon, where she resided until her death.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd; three daughters: Karen Torgerson and Vicki Harper, both of Portland, and Linda Brown of Tualatin; two grandsons: Samuel and Joseph Torgerson, two sisters, Audrey Anderson of Hurley and Joy Jensen, of Viborg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Erwin & Daisy Jensen; an infant sister, Evelyn; two brothers, Donald and Robert; and a sister, Helen Alstiel.
Memorial services were held January 15, 1999, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Portland, Oregon.
