Mrs. Mabel Heasley
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Miller Funeral Home for Mrs. Mabel Heasley, 85, former Sioux Falls resident, who died Monday at Yankton.
Mabel Darrow was born Aug. 9, 1885, in Moody County. She was married to John Heasley on Nov. 1, 1905, at Canton, S.D. He preceded her in death Jan. 8, 1954.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Irene Brewer, Mrs. Roy Kirback, and Mrs. Lauretta Ogdie, all of Sioux Falls; a son, Glen, Minneapolis; 27 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Sherman, Peru, Neb.; Mrs. Retta Sherman, Vermillion; Mrs. George Severance, Aberdeen; and Mrs. John Savery, Seattle, WA; four brothers, Ernest Darrow, Harvey Darrow, and Frank Darrow, all of Centerville, S.D., and Ralph Darrow, Weston, Ore.
Family Note: Mabel was the oldest child and first daughter of Frank Cyrus Darrow Sr. & his wife, Jennie (Millage) Darrow.
