FORMER CENTERVILLE WOMAN PASSES AWAY.
Centerville, S.D.—Special: Funeral services for Mrs. J. E. Michel will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Scandia Lutheran Church in Centerville, Rev. I. Z. Hyland officiating.
Mrs. Michel, a bride of Christmas day, died unexpectedly at Joplin, Mo., Monday. She and her husband, Private J. E. Michel, had visited here with relatives only a couple of weeks ago.
She was born on December 29, 1901, at the farm homestead northeast of Centerville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erick Anderson. She attended school in Centerville and also Yankton college for two years.
