Henry Overgaard
HURLEY, S.D. – Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Bethany Lutheran Church at Viborg for Henry Overgaard, 75, who died at a Sioux Falls hospital Friday.
Committal rites will be held at the Spring Valley Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Overgaard was born Feb. 24, 1893 in Turner County. He had been as lifelong resident of this area and was a farmer in rural Hurley. His wife had preceded him in death in 1952.
He is survived by three sons, Charles and Earl, Sioux Falls; Alfred, Hurley; six daughters, Mrs. Ole Grudt, Montrose; Mrs. Elmer Jorgensen and Mrs. Bernard Benning, Parker; Mrs. Donald Jensen, Centerville; Mrs. Ezra Patterson, Sioux Falls, and Mrs. Edward Olson, Hurley; and 39 grandchildren.
