DIED.
SELBY—At her home three miles southwest of Hurley, Friday, February 18th, Elia, wife of Francis Selby, aged 26 years, 3 months and 7 days.
Deceased was born at Mahoney City, Columbia Co., Pa., and came to this county with her parents when she was about seven years old, and since that time has made her home here.
Her death was caused from an attack of the measles which failed to come out on the surface, and which, owing to her delicate condition, proved fatal. The young babe which was born shortly before her death soon passed away and was laid to rest in the arms of its mother.
Besides sorrowing parents, brothers and sisters and a loving husband, four little ones are left to buffet with the world without the tender and watchful care of that dearest friend—mother. May the winds be tempered to the lambs of the flock.
