Jennie Iwerks was born on Feb. 19, 1888 in Turner County, Dakota Territory to Ubbe and Hanna (Gortmaker) Iwerks. She lived with her parents from her birth until her marriage to William J. Davis on October 14, 1909 in Turner County, SD. She and William made their home in Spring Valley, McCook County, SD supporting the family by farming. 

Jennie Davis died in 1964 and was buried in Rosehill Cemetery near Parker, SD.
