Minnie J. Iwerks was born January 4, 1884 to Ubbe and Hanna (Gortmaker) Iwerks in Turner County, Dakota Territory. 

Minnie was living with her parents during the 1900 census in Monroe, Turner County, SK. On November 8, 1905, she married George H. Robinson in Turner County, SD. She and George also made their home in Spring Valley, McCook County, SD until George's death in 1947. Minnie and George apparently had no children, therefore, it is uncertain what Minnie did after George's death. 

Minnie died in January, 1973 in Irene, Clay County, SD. She was buried at Rosehill Cemetery in Parker, SD.
