• The dates of settlements and patents range from 1886 to 1957. 
• Some of the patents were homestead, and other settlers paid cash for their land.
• Total number of Settlers: 73 -- 17 of the 73 were women  (nearly 25%)
• Earliest Patents were issued in 1886 to: Melvin Dempsey, and Gifford F. Parker
• Earliest Patent issued to a woman was in 1889 to: Dorcas Burke
• Last patent was issued to Albert H. Bowman in 1957
