Is the origin of the name TODD County known? I have heard of two different persons for which it might be named. J. B. S. Todd, first represetnative for the territory to Congress and John Todd, a Missouri River steamboat captain. There could be other possibilities, also. Thanks a lot!

looking for death record of John Young PEARSON, died 10 Nov 1911, Rosebud. I've looked at a death records book filmed by the LDS church, and there is no page in it for 1911. He isn't listed in the 1910 or 1912 sections either. Is there any other death record, or an obit, perhaps? his will was holographic, so it isn't in the courthouse. I have it.
