I'm researching the surname PETR. I know very little about the family. I do know Josef PETR was born in 1857 in the village Divisov in Moravia. He married Anna ZELENY in the 1800's. They had a son, named Adolph PETR who used to live in Mission, S.D. I know Adolph Petr was still living Sept. 16,1975. However by the social security death index record, I think he passed away May 1982. I have found a listing for a Bessie Petr, Frank Petr and Josef Petr. I would like to hear any information about the Petr and/ or Zeleny families.

Looking for info on my Grandfather(john casswell CORBIN-called cass) and my Grandmother (rose mae CORBIN-KANE). I know that they worked on the Rosebud Reservation in the late 1800s. My Father(marshall joshua CORBIN) was born on the Reservation in the 1880s and my Grandmother told me that the Indians called him SPOTTED_HORSE. I know that my Grandfather came from Kansas but I don't know what town and I don't know the name of his parents. I am told that my Grandfathers Mother was Cherokee Indian. My Grandmother was born in Iowa, but again, I don't know the town. I know that she told me when I was a young girl that her family left Iowa and moved to pennsylvania and later to South Dakota. I believe that my Grandparents were married in St. Lawerence or Huron in the early 1880s. Do you have any info on my family? Any help you can give would be much appreciated.

I am looking for any information on my Great Grandparents George and Mary CLEMENT, who lived on the Rosebud Indian Reservation between 1910 and 1923. All of their children were born in Todd County and my grandmother Leota was born in White River. I believe they owned a farm or ranch and I know they lost everything during the depression. Any information I can get on this family will be extremely helpful.
